Winter Wonderland Day

Grab your coat, gloves, and boots, and plan to join the WPZoo Staff for our first Wild Winterland Day at the Washington Park Zoo on December 2nd.

The zoo will be open from 10:30 am until 3:00 pm for guests to visit the staff and their animal friends.

We will be hosting “Keeper Chats” throughout the day to meet some of the education ambassadors up close like the armadillo, corn snake, hedgehog, chinchilla, parrot, and more. Kids can even learn more about our new Jr ZooKeeper Conservation Club and earn one of the program’s collector cards.

Grab your phone and your “Who-villest” holiday sweater for a photo with the Grinch from 11:00 am until 2:30 pm in the classroom, swing the Peacock Cafe for some hot cocoa or a snack, and be sure to browse through Treehouse Giftshop for some zoo-terrific gift options.

During the event, we will also be having a few random secret “Keeper “door prize giveaways.

Adult: $ 5.00
Child ages 3-11 years: $4.00
Under 2 are Free.

Please note some of the tropical species will not be on exhibit and the Tower will be closed.
