National Park
Indiana Dunes National Park and State Park – Just west of Michigan City, these neighboring parks offer miles of Lake Michigan shoreline and towering sand dunes. Trails wind through rugged dunes, bogs and forests, with naturalist-led programs offered year-round.
City Parks
Washington Park, Michigan City – Stretching along the southern shores of Lake Michigan, this park features two miles of sandy beach, picnic areas, a fitness trail, and the Oasis Splash Pad.
