Dennis Maloney is a painter based in northern Indiana. Before dedicating himself to painting, he spent more than twenty years as a professional welder and served in the U.S. Army. He studied at Minneapolis College of Arts and Design, where he became well versed in sculptural materials and techniques. The discipline of that background, with its emphasis on structure, materials, and precision, continues to inform his approach to painting.
