Beale Pottery

A family-operated, small-batch pottery studio specializing in handcrafted ceramics inspired by nature. The studio offers workshops, pay-by-the-day access, and monthly memberships. Working in batches, each piece is wheel-thrown or slab-constructed, bisque-fired, decorated with vibrant designs, and fired again—sometimes undergoing a third firing for lusters or decals. Finished collections are released online every 6-8 weeks. While the studio does not have regular open hours, visits can be scheduled by email or phone. Located just south of Indiana Dunes National Park, the surrounding landscapes influence the studio’s intricate illustrations and designs.
