The Joyful Noise Outdoor Instruments project is a collection of the nine musical instruments located within the City of LaPorte, each playing a unique sound. Strategically located in LaPorte Parks and near Historic Public Buildings, residents and visitors can make music as they enjoy the beauty of LaPorte’s parks and historic buildings.
Patrons can scan a QR Code located on each musical instrument and review an interactive map. The map shows the locations of all nine instruments and will provide directions either by foot, car or bike. One can start at the Yantzee in Unity Park and easily navigate to the Serenade in Soldiers Memorial Park. There is also an easy to follow guide for the most effective route for visiting all of the instruments.
