Michael Papp Metal Art

There is something in metal art that takes me on a journey to the past, when heating the steel back to melting temperature I am undoing what man has made with machinery. I turn it into an expression of something simplistic. When I am cutting out a design in a panel every tiny bead of melting steel takes its place and then cools like its been frozen in time. I recycle old steel so I can undo what industrialization has done.
