Somersault Studio 12

Tim is a traditional portrait and landscape photographer specializing in B/W photography. He is also known for his extensive array of color photographs of Mardi Gras Indians. His studio, Somersault Studio 12, is located on the 2nd floor of St. Mary’s Studios, a former Catholic elementary school, found just 2 blocks from the 11th Street South Shore Train Station. The artists of SS12 are at work nearly every day and welcome drop-ins, but we prefer visitors to call or text in advance to schedule a visit or arrange a tour. A door buzzer is on the 11th Street side of the SMA building.
