Explore your creative side with a visit to the Lakefront Art Festival. This outdoor art gallery, presented by the Lubeznik Center for the Arts, features beautiful one-of-a-kind local items for sale as well as incredible demonstrations by the artists. The Art Activity Tent even gives kids a chance to try their hand at painting a masterpiece or shaping their own pottery on the wheel.

You won’t be able to stop your foot from tapping during the Annual Pageant of Drums. Cheer on your favorites as they compete in the Drum Corps International Open Class World Championship Quarterfinals. Enjoy the summer sights from the top of the Ferris wheel at Indiana’s Oldest County Fair. The LaPorte County Fair was first held in 1845, and since then, continues to thrill with 4-H events, horse racing, stage shows and carnival attractions. Don’t miss Pioneer Land—one of the more recent and popular additions to the grounds.
